According to the thread Logitech X-230 2.2 project
IIUC, install a SPST switch across pin 1 and pin 7 of the DB9 connector can turn on/off the amplifier master power.
Install a SPDT switch across pin 6 and pin 8, shorted pin 6 to pin 8 will turn off the power for satellite speakers, connect a LED + 1.9kΩ resistor from pin 6 to pin 8 will turn on the power for satellite speakers.
Operation:
plugging in the DB-9 with shorted pins 1 & 7 turns on the master power
satellite power switch off = grey shorted to black
satellite power switch on = LED + 1.9K in series between grey and black

I don't see why not! Just connect a LED + 1.9kΩ resistor from pin 6 to pin 8. However, my recommendation is based on the thread "Logitech X-230 2.2 project".
I hope member @leadbelly saw this thread and give us advise.

Maybe just back up and say what your project is? Your 1st post says you want to add a switch and your post #5 says no switch. So what are you trying to do?
I did what you said and I didn't use any keys, just the satellite speakers will work continuously without turning off.
Ok, you really have to say what you are doing or this will go in circles.
Let me ASSUME that you have just the sub and are trying to wire your own harness and non-original satellite units. I assume "keys" means switches? So you wired it that pin 1&7 are always shorted, no switch? And you wired it so that there is always an LED and resistor in series between 6&8? And satellite speakers are always on but NOT sub?
