hypex ucd 400 ad

Hi Guys
Just fired up my Ucd 400 modules which I bought used just to hear what the hype is all about. First impression not too bad alittle too tiring for long auditions thought. I've read that by passing the input cap would improve the sound but am unable to locate any info on where the cap is positioned. would appreciate guidance here pls. Btw would replacing the 470uf caps with say Black Gate would improve the sound ?

Replacing C17 / 18 input caps will have little effect. Replacing C1 / 19 will have no effect. Improving the power supply will increase the power level but that is all. They are Hypex.
One cannot make a silk purse out of a sows ear.

Now that's the first bad rep that I've read about Hypex .
If changing caps has no effect, then the module must be
very well designed or badly design from the start.
