Hi
I am setting up a pair of Hypex fa 253. Latest firmware has been installed, crossover has been uploaded sucsessfully, but I get no output..
I can see on the VU meter that I have inputsignal, but the output remains silent. I have green constant light on the plate.
Can anyone tell me what I possibly could be doing wrong?
Best regards
Chris

Can be a few things, but check the source/input configuration, the gain level (IIRC it defaults very low) and that you actually have the right present uploaded and selected on the amp.
It's been a while since I have set up a Hypex amp from scratch, but as I recall there were a few things to be aware of. If you follow the steps in the manual and just upload a basic x-over to confirm you get sound out, then troubleshooting from there becomes easiers (or so I've heard 😉 )

I'd make sure that each channel isn't muted in the Filter Design (check at the top of the page) and also double check you have the right preset selected. If you're using the IR Remote Unit to control the plate amp, I've seen IR conflicts happen with my Marantz AVP remote changing the input on the FA253. I spent 2 hours tearing my hair out trying to figure out what was causing my FA253 to go dark before figuring it out it was my Marantz remote causing the issue.
