hi - newbie here.
I'm wondering whether its possible to use a wireless USB dongle-type thing on the USB input of the Hypex in order to receive digital input from say an Applemac laptop or MacMini, thereby not needing any wires between the laptop and the active speakers I'm working on...
Any help gratefully received.
Thanks
Simon

a solution ?
I don't think such thing will work, but you can mybe try a battery powered wireless S/PDIF (48kHz) connection between your mac and the digital input of the hypex module by using this E-MU Systems - Products
max. distance 15 meters, E-MU says
other made experience with this gear ?

yes, allready recorded files can be played with a SB thru NAS, but you can't (miss)use it for example as a wireless playback option, if your signalsource - for monitoring purposes - is your DAW / Soundcard.
Any advances on a wireless Hypex plate amp system.
I too am trying to work out how best to get audio from a Macbook/Airport express/Apple TV in digital form to either a Hypex AS2.100 or the PSC.400
AS2.100 has USB (but out of stock)
PSC.400 has balanced input, without adding a DAC in-between I'm not sure how to extract the audio
any ideas?
