So you have some plans to provide support along the length of the horn to prevent delamination of the substrate between the glue joints?
I have different horns made of both MDF and Birch ply wood that are going on 15 to 18 years old. I used conventional Tight Bond II wood glue and none of them show any signs of delaminating. The adhesives are stronger than the material used to make the horn. The trick is to seal the horn with something like polyurethane or fiber glass resin. As long as you keep the mosisture out of the horn it should last a life time.
The plan is excactly what JLH describes. I will try on some test material a mix of wood glue and MDF dust, but will probably end up with some fiberglass resin or polyurethan 2-component mix on the outer layer. Then spray paint them.
I made some LeCleach 850hz last summer, and they ended up really nice and strong with woodglue. Though they where turned on a lathe.

Dan, have you calculated the wrong horn? The lenght of the horn I calculated in #133 should be 34,3 and have a mouth flare of 8000. It seems like the one you have calculated is 29cm?
