Hi All,
I've been using a '93 Aura evolution va-100 II amp, and recently its buzzing/humming problem got worse. Initially the humming/buzzing used to go away after the amp was heated up for a few minutes, but now it doesn't go away at all (especially due to winter time).
The buzzing is coming from Omron 12V relay, so I purchased and changed it, but the new relay still buzzed right off. So something else is making the relay humming. Interesting thing is, if I hook up my headphone output, the humming stops right away.
What would be the problem? Could anyone tell me how I can fix it please?

Sounds like a dead electrolytic in the voltage powering the relay coil.
If that's the case, I wonder why it didn't go away after I replaced the relay with a new one.. Maybe the new one is faulty too?
