Ze french, zey say 'Condensateur' as well as 'Capaciteur', or just 'Condo'...

The Germans use the term kondensator for capacitor.
.... and "Spannung" for the English word tension which is the most exact translation between both languages possible. Or in other words, in german we still use the equivalent of tension.....
