I have a driver that came out of a Hsu VTF2 subwoofer. I'd like to build a box for it but I don't have any TS specs. I'll be using a plate amp (300W) to power it.
Any suggestions on box volume or/and alignment will be appreciated.

Using the same box and a more powerful amp, it kept bottoming out. (The original amp had burned out and instead of OEM replacing it, I purchased the PE 300W. Will eventually get a matching driver for it)
Meanwhile, I am thinking of a larger sealed box for the HSU driver but can't decide on the optimum volume..

Well, if it's already bottoming out, it will bottom out in a bigger enclosure that's for sure. If it's already vented, it's even worse.
You could measure the T/S parameters by yourself.
If you can't do that, I would recommend to go sealed, in a bigger box if you want to.
Another option is lowering the gain behind the amplifier to prevent it from bottoming out...
