HP 8903B and Pete Millett's Software Problem ?

I am using a HP 8903B and Pete's software.
The hardware is a PC on window 7, and NI PCIe GPIB card.

The problem I have is the Frequency Response program only sweeps to 31698 Hz even though I chose 50kHz stop frequency and no filter.

This measurement is done by connecting the output of 8903B to its input.

Does anyone know how to solve this ?

Sorry no replies, and since I am currently in the hospital in California with a busted up knee, I really can't be of immediate help.

Are you sure the final freq is really that, or is that just the final label on the axis? often the very end does not get labeled. In this case the final axis label is not all the way at the right-hand edge.

Might be a math rounding error in my program. If you go to 50001 or 70kHz, does it still stop there?

8903B and NI Pci GPIB card

Well,

you're doing better than me!

I can get my Windows 7 PC (64bit) to talk to my card, and I can find the HP Audio Analyzer ok, I have installed VEE 9.2 and every other version you can think of at various time! I have tried all versions of the NI drivers, and I have checked and unchecked the HP Agilent 488 gpib driver option to see if it was overwriting the NI DLLs. I have tried the shared IO libraries for 13 up to the latest, and everytime I run any of Pete's kind donated programmes it throws an error along the lines of "Error 700" cannot find the national shared library GPIB-32.DLL. I am all out of ideas now, having spent three days adding and removing drivers, library versions and files only to get the same error everytime, if anyone can help please let me know!

Many thanks

Pete
