HP 8903A software options

Today I purchased a HP 8903a Audio Analyzer from a fellow forum member. I am interested in connecting the analyzer to either my laptop or my PC. My laptop is preferred and it has an i5 2.5GHz processor with 8GB RAM running Win 10 64 bit. I see there is a HP Keysight Agilent 82357B USB-GPIB Interface available for connectivity. Is the Audiotester and Peter Millett software the way to go? This is a new hobby for me where I would like to repair and test vintage audio equipment.

Hello,
a few years ago I purchases a clone of the Agilent USB-GPIB interface called Beiming S82357. It worked very well for me with the 8903A and Millett SW, following the instructions provided by both. Don't think it sells anymore unless you find a used one. I haven't had the chance to try my setup on windows 10 yet, might need to install stuff to get it to work. It was working on previous windows version just fine.
There are also few Youtube videos on using the millett SW with 8903 which you have probably seen. For me it is all I need. I know some people are playing with the "Analog Discovery 2" and associated SW, since you get spectrum analyzer, volt meter, scope, network analyzer, impedance analyzer etc...I haven't gone that route.
Depending what projects you have you will find that yes the instruments but things like cables, connectors, terminations, splitters, probes, loads, tube extenders, etc, keep you busy and keep you spending money. Plan time and money for this or your vintage instruments will sit there idle.
