How to use FEMM?

I'm trying to build a very small high-excursion ribbon driver for headphone use, and I've been having a dickens of a time trying to figure out how to use FEMM. Anyone have a good tutorial?

if you use my ribbon motor technology i'll help you 🙂

my technology is ideally suited for headphone use because any other ribbon will be much heavier as well as bulkier.

on the other hand you should probably be using something which forms a seal ...

Here is a simulation of the rubanoid, with electromagnets.

Thanks a Henjo! Wondering if FEMM can properly predict difference between pure iron and low carbon steel (0.2% C). Difference is small (0.1T).
