How to use a 220 Volt power supply at 12 Volts in the car?

I just bought a Mundorf 50/96 amp power supply. I want to use this for listning and tuning my system without running the motor.

I would like to be certain how to use this before I start to do anything.

Must I first disconnent the +/- cables from the battery and hook them directly to the power supply?

Or can I just hook the +/- from the power supply directly to the battery just like with jumper cables?

The total Amp draw at maximum strain should not be more than around 80 Amps.

Just parallel it like you would with jumper cables. 🙂

Did you have any problems with the power supply at 240ac? noise or RF? i am very interested in your project.
