i am beginner to use my eagle software to do my final year project... i download a chip from online library PIC18F4520 and print it out from schematic to PCB board... i found out the size was difference and not standard... it was smaller than the actual size and the width and pin size was small... Any solution to solve the problem... TQ...

Most PCB CAD software allows you do design custom packages for chips. I believe the Eagle manual has a tutorial on creating your own devices. Maybe you can find another chip that uses the same package and edit that.
You can use the IC-package library and select a 40 pin IC and just connect all the pins as they should . Print it out and see if it fits . If the scale is not right change the scaling factor in the print menu in Eagle .
