Folks
I have two players one is a Pioneer DVD player( with coax and optical output jacks) and another is an older Onkyo CD-Model DX CD 540 changer, with only digital optical output, no coax. With a new DAC in the works( from Peter Daniel), I wonder if there is any way that I can wire up an additional coax output jack on the Onkyo player?
At this time I plan to use only an optical output on the DAC. I understand that coax is a better solution, though..
Any input welcome.
Thanks
George

I can not give you help in building one,but there are optical to coaxial converters for sale.Anyway DIY is propably cheaper.
If you now have a good DAC, why not insert a Tentlabs XO3 clock into the Onkyo, that way you improve the sound of the Onkyo considerably as a transport and gain a very good digital coax output at the same time, (two birds with one stone). problem fixed.

I don't know why everyone keeps using that site as a reference. For background, yeah.......for circuits, no.
George has a better idea.
