My experience won't be much help: I didn't permanently affix the plexiglas to the front panel in my Aikido. Instead, from the rear of the 6 mm front panel I machined a rectangle slightly larger than my piece of plexiglas to a depth of 4 mm, in which the plexiglas is seated. The front of the LED display was positioned against the back plane of the plexiglas. The plexiglas on my Aikido doesn't move when you sharply tap it from the front; it has nowhere to go.

Scott,

Thanks for the reply. As a FYI to everyone here is what I found.

This to That (Glue Advice)
This is a site that will tell you what glue to use for different materials. It is quite amazing - for me at least.

Glass Glue from Loctite Adhesives

Crystal clear glue for glass to aluminium. Lots of other materials as well.

Seems like an easy way to install see through display panels.
Hope this helps someone.
