I recently bought 100' of High Resolution Audio Cable from MCM, and I bought their gold plated RCA plugs, which have really cool alluminum finish. But enough about cosmetics... I am having trouble assembling the cable. I found out about these cables from some guys website (http://home.new.rr.com/zaph/audio/audio-cables.html)... I followed his directions but with no luck. The technique outlined on his website discourages soldering these connectors....why? How would someone go about soldering the cables and connectors.... should i solder only the center wire to the center pin? Any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated...
