How to keep stuffing on top of driver in place?

Just like the title says...I'm going to add some polyfill above the driver in my BIBs, what did you guys use to keep it from falling down and getting in the speaker? I remember something on Boozhound Labs with eye hooks and string, making a net of sorts...might try that.

Best tip I heard for this is take a net fruit bag (more commonly used for onions but also oranges) and suspend it like a safety net at the level you want to keep the poly. No need to weave string.

I am tweaking my BIB as well. What other interior treatments do you have? I have had felt behind the driver with mixed results but have not put much else inside except for the suggested one inch poly at the front half of the base to where the divider splits the area of the base. Rest of the horn exit is just wood.

(Also it helps to keep BIB questions in the main BIB thread. Maybe have Cal put it in there?)

That is exactly what I did. I've attached it with staples and duct tape. If you want something bigger and/or tougher, you can either use light fencing wire or wide plastic screen, like the stuff sold to keep debris out of gutters.

What other interior treatments do you have?

Nothing else for now. I've got some acoustic foam I was planning on using, I also need to cut out more of a chamfer on the back side of the baffle when I have the drivers out.

And finally mount those binding posts I've had sitting around here for a while...gah, I'm lazy 😀

I've used a 'sock' made of the netting used for a bridal veil to hole polyfill in place. I cut the netting to shape, loosely sewed the edges with dental floss, and used another piece of floss as a drawstring to close the end after stuffing. Works fine.
