The size of 1/2W Takman 2% carbon resistor is bigger than stock 1/2w carbon KOA 5% resistor. To replace the existing resistor, you will need to adjust the angle of the Takman Carbon Film resistor to install it on the PCB. This picture shows how it should look once bent and installed properly.
