Cloned that thing twice for a setup containing a phono preamp and a headphones amps.No audible noise.Tl783 needs to stay within 125v input to output.Just raise the adj pin accordingly.Don't listen to anyone saying it's not up to his audiophile stadards...Who cares about them?If you don't hear any noise it doesn't exist!

These are the +/-200V regulators adapted. They have a low quiescent current and a low dropout voltage compared to integrated solutions.
They are not protected against shorts (that would be possible too), but they are much more robust than many alternatives: the signal transistors see a relatively low voltage, and the I/O difference is limited by the MOS (800V in this case).
They can be adjusted by tweaking one of divider's resistor, or inserting an adjustable pot at their junction.
