Stereophile published the review of a 1985 Kyocera DA-910 online.It was compared to a Nak OMS-5, the sound of the Nak was described
as being inferior. Very funny, because to my knowledge,
both players are the same...
They are not the same. Similar mech, main chips but the different power supply and out amp stage.
Yep, I wanted to edit my two minute old post but you were faster!

Hi Salar,
The Nak machines use the Philips chip set. My thoughts at the moment are to run a buffered eyey pattern into another servo board and let it fully process the signal and provide the required outputs.
The early Philips chip set is ugly to work with.

Thanks! Cool and would be nice to try.
Replacing the CX23035 with a CXD 1125Q did not work - the display of my CDP-103 went beserk and sometimes there was glitches in playback - we could not figure out why...
Yes, putting back the original CX23035 fixed it. As I was working on a CDP-103
(which is very identical to the CDP-302) it could be a problem of the system controller.

CXD 1125Q have some extra features other than DOTX. I believe it can be set/disabled with some pins I/O (or, worse case scenario, controller settings).
The CXD1125 outputs 2FS
CXD1125, pin 56 "H", 57 "L", 2FS;
pin 56 "L", 57 "H", 1FS.
(CXD1135 too!)
also can take a look on the thread (some delay added)
