I have wasted most of today trying to do just that. I am unable to log in due to some technical (?) glitch and that infuriating chatbot keeps shunting me down useless links to FAQs that don't even come close to addressing the problem. I managed to make contact with most of the employees of the ebay call centre in India but after listening to their well-rehearsed scripts of how wonderful I am for being an ebay member and they would be delighted to help, I am no closer to a solution. Does anyone know of a way to cut through the ******** to get help?
To be honest, I think I will try that and see what happens. I'm not bothered about losing my 100% buyer feedback rating. Can you start over with a new account and email?
Hi,
Might just have been lucky, but I was going around in circles with the ebay chatbot a few weeks ago.
Eventually, I asked it if I could speak to a grown-up. And I got through to a human customer service rep!
YMMV, of course. But worth a try?
Cheers,
Ant

Have you tried the obvious stuff like clearing your browser cookies etc.
Also why can't you do a reset password? As long as you have the same email and mobile phone number.
The buyer has to list his address to be on eBay.
It's automatically on the eBay shipping label that you buy.
You have to ship within the number of days agreed to.

Not in that case, for some reason.
Dealing with EBay and trying to prove I tried to do the right thing through a robot conversation was hugely frustrating. Apart from losing money, I had a 100% feedback rating and of course wanted to protect it.

You got to understand the new moral of these company's. It is a moral free logic they have learned from the Chinese. A single person (human) isn't worth anything at all. There are so many others.
You do not count any more, not as a customer, human being or anything. You are just one, and a trillion others can take your place a second later.
They want their stuff to run trouble free and make them richer. So if some mistake happens, they simply drop the customer, as he is not worth anything for them. It doesn't matter to them that it was their fault, not yours. You are the problem because you exist, so you get erased.
Looking into your individual problem would need a human who is competent and makes decissions. You don't want to pay intelligend workers, as they are too expensive.
The whole system is designed in a way you can not present any legal proof of their mistakes, so beside from most people not sueing them, they have no chance anyway. You little idiot want to sue one of the richest companies in the world? Forget about it. You are surprised you run in endless circles if you search for a sollution? That is how it is designed. They make you tired until 99% of problem customers give up.
With AI this will get even worse, as it's only use is to reduce human workforce. And we all know, computer don't make any mistakes, it is always the human that is wrong. So what chance do you have agains an AI induced fault? None.
Don't count on social media as a tool to make such behavior public. AI only needs a fraction of a second, to make 10.000 different posts that say you are wrong, mentally ill, a criminal or malign bot. Which will be stored and read by AI, next time you apply for a loan or a new job. So take care and be quiet!
Welcome to the new world!
PS if you look in the world sometimes, you find nice examples of this happening. The British Mail had a fault in it's computer system, giving wrong summs of cash. Because of that fault employees where jailed for stealing money. Some are still in prison. The judge simply beliefed Royal Mail who said computer don't make mistakes. So if you wake up in a cell tomorow, don't be surprised. The humans in the Royal Mail knew about the fault, but lied. None of those got in jail.
