I think I finaly have gotten what I want! Down bellow is a schematic for my Dirty channel. REally nice crunch, from crackling and sparkling to thight and almost heavy crunch! That 220k gridresistor on the 3rd tube really did the trick!

Tonepad has a schematic for the Sansamp GT-2 - seems like someone went through a lot of black epoxy.
For those of you who don't know, the GT-2 is an "amp simulator" stompbox/DI preamp for guitars. A very well reputed one, in fact. I've heard it in the past and it's very convincing - and i'll surely will be playing with the schematic to see what kind of mods i can get away with. The thing is basically a mess of active opamp filters, so i'm still trying to make some sense out of it.
Still, well worth checking out.

As u stated I believe early you have a two stage preamp one tube for stack and other for phase inverter. Or you might have a 4stage or 3. Throw a high gain high noise 12axl7a in your phase invertor socket.
