How to get 7.1 out of PS4 Pro and PS5?

Good night,

I need analogue 7.1 output for consoles.

I would really like to know if I can use a cheap HDMI audio extractor like this:

- CONSOLE > TV > TV EARC > AUDIO EXTRACTOR > Analogue 5.1/7.1 to SPEAKERS.

Does the method above works? Also the HDMI extractor I don't know if it supports ARC\EARC. Does it need to support just to receive all audio from the TV EARC hdmi output?

PS: I don't want to connect the console to the audio extractor and then to TV because there's no HDMI 2.1 audio extractor that I know and if there is they will most likely be very expensive at this point and I want 4K 120hz + HDR when I get PS5...

Yep, I'm tired of searching and nothing...

It makes me beyond pissed how the world moved to HDMI and sound bars and ditched optical separate almost invisible cable instead of improving its bandwidth to support all the latest stuff including Dolby Atmos with lossless quality...

Anyway there's a cheap hdmi extractor with 7.1 analog outputs however it's 4k 30hz only so I would love to know if it would work connecting the Console directly to the TV and use the eARC output of the TV to the sound extractor???

I know most TVs only output stereo from ARC port but I'm going to upgrade at the end of this year for a hdmi 2.1 TV with eARC that can output 5.1/7.1 via eARC...
