Hi All,
I have a warped Led Zepplin record that is badly warped and would like to try to "un-warp" Anyone try to do it? I was thinking of warming in the oven ( what is a safe temp?) and then placing a stack of records on top of it??? I've tried to find another one to replace it, but the ones I've found are not in as nice of shape....other than the warp.

Try warm water, much safer than the oven!
I usually use water & soap (and preferably distilled water for final cleaning). I Remember a thin vinyl ( joker: some economical brand, I Guess) and it became floppy in very hot water, my fault, and got flat on the table, so my advice...

The rim and the label area are usually a bit thicker than the groove area. Anyway, I would sandwich the record between two glass plates, use carpenter clamps (at least 4) and put it on the sun. Oven is a bit radical.

Whatever you do, do it to several valueless records first, find the lowest temperature and right amount of time that positively affects the warp.
Depending on where you live, you might be able to find somebody nearby who owns a fancy record flattener device. I have had 3 or 4 warped records fixed perfectly by a guy in my state's capital city. He charges a reasonable rate, something like $10 AUD, and flattens them with a $3000 machine.
I've tried the glass plates in the oven and out in the sun, but the trouble is that the temperature control is not precise, and you can easily ruin a record if it gets too hot.

I’ve flattened records that way. I put the oven on warm and left the glass-record-glass sandwich alone for a couple of hours. Gravity was all that was needed, no clamps required. The rim and the label area are usually a bit thicker than the groove area.
