Does anyone have a good method for cutting the fresnel lens?
I was thinking table saw but i was afraid that it might chip the lens.
Any suggestions 🙂

Score it several times with a utility knife. Then put iton the edge of a table and snap the extra piece off. It's that simple.
Thanks for the tip about the utility knife method. I thought about that but wasnt sure it would cleave like glass. Thanks again for the info.
if you've got a dremel, i suggest using it before the utility knife. i actually split my fresnel using a hacksaw. i tried the hot knife method, but after an hour realized that the economy would collapse before i got this thing done, so i grabbed my hacksaw, and went at it. it was like seperating siamese twins. two hours later and they were ready to begin living normal, seperate lives. the next day i got a chance to go to my dad's, who has a garage and proper tools. he cut that field fresnel to size, we ordered pizza, and watched a documentary on bobby dylan in less time than it took me to split the thing. if you search, you'll find a lot of other people suggest using a dremel, too.
You may cut the plastic fresnel lens carefully just like any other plastic sheet. The minor chipping at the ends will not affect performance. By the way you will be benefitted by our design. The details can be seen by clicking the following link to our web page:-
