In the upper righthand corner of the attachment you will see a symbol for a bin. If you click on that, the attachment will be deleted.
If the attachment is already embedded IN the post, get the cursor to its right (can be tricky) and BackSpace. Or tease it until the corner handles show, and Delete (Cut, Ctrl-T). Or tease it until the Hover Menu shows, and touch Trash Bin.
