How to contact a list of users?

I'd like to contact a number of users on a list I got from the search function of the forum (about 300 users). I could send them a PN. However, PNs are limited to 5 users at a time, so I'd have to copy-paste this about 60 times. Is there a more convenient method?

(The plan is to start a group of diyAudio members of Switzerland, so it might get more fun / efficient to exchange stuff locally.)

I think that the reason the IM system does not allow many people to be included is to combat spam.

You could start up a discussion in the open forums and see what transpires, otherwise I suspect you will need to take the laborious option!

What wintermute said.. Batching PMs I think would be considered as spam by many here.

A discussion in the appropriate forum would seem to be the way to go, perhaps set up a gmail account and ask those interested to email you directly and build your list that way?
