How to calculate the AWG value ?

Hello,

Can some one help me in finding out the correct AWG value of a solid core copper wire that I am having from the following parameters ?

1. Conductor Area CSA: 0.21mm²
2. Conductor Make-up: 40 / 0.1mm
3. Conductor Material: Oxygen Free Copper

40/0.1mm diam is 0.31sqmm.
This is equivalent area to 0.63mm diam.

0.21sqmm is equivalent to 0.52mm diam.

Now that you have downloaded the AWG from wikip, you can see that your 40/0.1 is ~22gauge and that 0.21sqmm (30/0.1) is ~24gauge.
