I am trying to simulate a loudspeaker-enclosure system using matlab GUI.
How can I calculate the mechanical resistance that is added by the enclosure ( suppose for a closed box to begin with )? It's a resistance known by bibliography as Rab or Ral or Rmo and is added to the piston mechanical resistance ( Rms or something ).I've read some papers and Rab is taken into account to caclulate the T/S parameters, but how on earth this Rab is calculted? I suppose it is a function of the enclosure volume and the filling material but I can only speculate...
