How to bypass volume control?

I used acetone to remove a volume control. Unfortunately it fused all the plastic together & now it's stuck fast.
I want to bypass the knob altogether.
Which wires do I need to connect?

You need to connect white to white and red to red on the 3-wire cables. You can leave the black wire alone.

Thanks. Sorted. But I had to connect the black wire too.

You have now learned why IPA rather than acetone is used with electronics... Far less aggressive solvent. Acetone readily dissolves perspex, polystyrene, polycarbonate, ABS and many others. Polycarbonate is particularly sensitive to minute traces of the wrong solvents, becoming fragile rather than tough on exposure. Even the oils in orange peel will damage polycarbonate.
