Hello folks,
It has been one of my more recent dreams to build a pure digital amplifier. What is the easiest way to get started? I wouldn't mind building some for my friends, too.
Thank you!!!!!!!
PS- I saw the mega 350 post digiamp thread. Some of the stuff went over my head.

Zetex (http://www.zetex.com) makes chipsets, mosfets and an evaluation board for a completely digital (I2S input) amplifier. I've looked at making one, but the number of discrete parts is high (and costly) and you need a multilayer board to build one correctly. I wouldn't recommend it to a DIYer, but this is probably the best stuff you can buy right now.
TI has some parts, but from what I've read you have to mess with non-disclosure agreements, licensing, etc.. to use their chips.
