Is there any method to bias the aussie amplifiers in class A... I think I can go with the http://www.aussieamplifiers.com/nxv500.htm module to get a generous 150watts RMS into class A mode but is there any mod to bias in class A... but sonically does it makes such difference?
4pair of To264 cannot do 150W of ClassA.
It would need loaded supply rails of ~+-60Vdc and a bias current of about 3.1A. Total output dissipation ~370W, i.e. 46W/FET.

Anthony Holton's Amplifiers are good.
But they are not intended for Class A.
Now 160 W RMS in Class A is probably, in my opinion, to overdo audio.
Generally, 10-20 Watt Class A can outperform many 100-200 Watt Class AB amps.
😉
