I put together a nice little amplified speaker box built from junk around the shop and wanted to add Bluetooth to stream my phone music.
All the DIY Bluetooth boards I see for sale seem to either be for Arduino (need programming/software I'd believe?) or are all-inclusive with an amplifier as well.
I just want a bluetooth...board? that I can add to the existing setup I have.
Is that a thing?
Thanks!!

I've used a few of these, to great effect:

Yes, I did see that one. Was hoping to find one with less... features I suppose! No need for the hands-free mic or button circuitry.
Just want a super basic Bluetooth receiver that outputs stereo audio so I can wire it into my amp input.

Sure Electronics' webstore Bluetooth V2.1 Audio Receiver Board - BRB1
I think I've found what I need! Just desolder the headphone jack and wire it directly into my amp.
Unless I'm missing something!

That looks like a likely candidate. Also look at Parts Express, they have a lot of Bluetooth set-ups, both bare boards and packaged units.
