How do your store spare resistors?

For diy, I'd also recommend storing purchased parts in their original bag with sticker - assuming you have purchased a reputable brand/model from a good outlet that has part details summarised on a sticker - I don't find the sticker fades after a few decades, but if it does then go over the model number etc with a fine point pen. To me, the part details are important - so I keep a datasheet on my PC to avoid not being able to find one in a few decades time. I use a compartmented plastic tray for each decade, so each standard value gets a space. Parts storage can get spread out when you also have many ceramic power resistors and other special resistors, but its worthwhile imho trying to be somewhat organised, as its a pita when you spend many minutes trying to find a part you know you have.
