How do you use a 5" LCD with a 4" Lens

How do you use a 5" LCD with a 4" Lens

I have a Fujinon projectio lens that has a dia of 4". I also have a LCD panel that is 5" diagonal. How do you tie these together? The LCD Panel must be very near to the projection lens. The LCD panel is also larger than the lens dia. Does anybody have any idea how to make this work and also whether this will work or not?

If the lcd has to be right up to the lens, then it wont work. It'll cut off that extra inch.
