It is a state prison not a federal one! As to who might be stopping in one, that would be bringing politics into the thread. A true no-no.
When my guys work in a prison they leave cell phones and such outside and are let in at a specific time in the morning and let out at a certain time in the evening. Always accompanied by a guard. Prior to the visit they are required to submit certified forms to be cleared and submit an affidavit that they do not know any of the prisoners!
Actually more visible security than some presidential gigs I have worked!
