I am doing a little write up on JFETS for my soon to be web site. I am curious as to how those of you who use SPICE create models of JFETS. From a little research I have come up with the following basic table.
PARAMETER = DESCRIPTION = MEASURED/DATABOOK VALUE
VTO = Threshold Voltage = Vp
BETA = Transconductance = IDSS/|Vp|^2 @ Vgs=0
LAMBDA = Output Conductance = 1/|yos|
CGS = Gate Source Cap = Ciss - Crss
CGD = Gate Drain Cap = Crss
I know I am missing some parameters and I was hoping some contributions to this table could be made.
Next I hope to look at BJT's, a more complicated device model.
Thanks for your help.
Stephen
