How do you measure bias with no source resistors?

If your really lazy and In a fiddling mood you can use a laser temperature gauge on your big heat sink. I don’t recommend this method for first time bias, but if you think it’s a little hot or a little cold this is by far the easiest.

A while ago, I nabbed a Fluke Y8100 clamp-on DC current probe on E-pray. This is what we used at my last job for power supply current measurements without breaking the line to insert an ammeter. It plugs into your standard DVM and outputs a voltage that is a function of current.
