Normally one simply leaves the forum.
But an account can be closed if you really need to. An Admin can do it.

This thread raised me some questions, mainly directed to moderators and admins.

Is there currently a lot of people leaving DIYAudio ?
Do you track the churn ?

It may be interesting to know the reason for which people leave or ask for suspension, using a questionnaire may help even if usually return rate is low. It will require Admins to spend some time on processing but may provide some interesting insights.
