how do I use resistors of certain values to get 19vDC down to 18vDC?

i can't find the right plug size.. mine is an odd size and it's hard to find the one that fits..

They are all odd sizes😉 But then you just buy a connector and cut of the one that doesen't fit, and replace it. I never throw away a PSU. If it's broken I cut off the connector. This way I have "repaired" a couple of devices for free.

Generic Laptop chargers usually come with 6 to 12 different sized end plugs, to match anybody out there.

Don't you have the broken charger? Just take the connector from here and solder to another 18 volt charger
