how do i improve this mess of an Class A amplifier?

And about post #126: Besides the input polarity issue, only a "rail-to-rail" op-amp will work here because a typical op-amp saturates about 1.5V from the rail, and Q4 needs to be driven 0.65V from the rail, so the output of a typical op-amp is not compatible with a BJT base with the emitter tied directly to the rail. Also, adding the gain of Q4 is likely to make the feedback unstable. Typical op-amps are compensated for unity gain by themselves without adding any extra stages, so using an op-amp for an amplifier front-end is problematic. It can be done but it gets complicated.

Open the file in LT so it is displayed on screen.

Assuming Windows you can use the Snipping Tool to make an image of what is on screen or just hit the PRT SCREEN button which copies the image to the Windows Clipboard. You can open Paint and just paste the image and save it.

Or use the 'Tools' and 'Copy to Bitmap' option that @steveu showed yesterday and paste into 'Paint'.

Like this in Paint. The paste option to paste from Clipboard to Paint is under the Edit button in Paint.

1. "prt sc" captures the whole screen to the clipboard
2. alt + "prt sc" captures the active dialog/application window
3. "prt sc"+ mouse click captures a selected area of the screen.
Open a graphics program and paste the image. I use Irfanview because it's free and powerful. You can crop and many other edits to the image in Irfanview. JPEG is not the best choice for saving the image unless the image is a photograph. For graphics like spice or other documents, PNG or GIF is a more efficient file format. Irfanview will save to a pdf, or you can "print" to a pdf file from most any program.
