Here's chart showing the 'measured' playback eq for three speeds on a reel to reel recorder (a sony tc-560). While they 'look' ok, how do I make sure the eq does not need tweaking. Is there a reference (nab ? riaa ?) that I could compare with ? Where can I get it ?
er..please excuse the 60hz spike. my not-so-scientific-laboratory-grade test setup/cables were picking up hum.
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

The only proper way is to use a calibrated reference test tape (Bezugsband), but these are difficult to obtain and expensive ($105), unless you could borrow one.
