Wanted to know if anyone has heard of a Q POWER 280 watts 15" sub woofer driver. If You did ,do you have the specs for it,if not where can I get one? I don't know how many cu. ft. of box volume should I build a box for this sub.
Any comments?

Consider that good speakers cost something close to the diameter squared (i.e. 6"-$36; 8"-$64; 12"-$144; 15"-$225) in US Dollars.
If you payed less than half that, you either got a really good deal or the speakers are junk.
If you want to know the parameters, measure them. All you need is a resistor and your soundcard-equipped computer, a voltmeter and a couple cords (you can use the cords from broken headphones if you have any - as long as the cord isn't what is broken).
Go to:
http://www.kbapps.com/audio/speakerdesign/calculators/parameters.html and follow the instructions. You can download a tone generator program from the internet - a good one is called nchtone - do a search for it.
The program takes the place of the generator and frequency counter, and the rest is easy.

If you don't want to do this, stick them in a sealed box of 2-4 cubic feet (60-120 liters) and live with what you get...

Q POWER 280 watts 15 -- This sound like a (crappy) car subwoofer, is it? Go to caraudioforum.com Mostly a bunch of Fast and the Furious wanna be buttheads if you ask me, but they might know what it is.
What's the name of the company that makes the sub? Look at the sub harder try to find the name or some clues.

your pretty safe with any 15 inch car audio sub with a 2.5-3 cu. ft box.....I have my Fosgate pwr12 in a 2 cu. ft ported box and it sounds decent
