I want to install a newer decoder chip in my aged Nakamichi to run in parallel with the old decoder chip. It´s task will be to provide better error correction (in terms of interpolation) and providing SPDIF - output.
The original circuitry will be almost untouched, this chip will run in parallel.
Therefor, I need to split the EFM signal coming from the RF-amp.
How do I split it and which buffer do I take to keep the signal level unchanged?.
And: Can I also split the current coming from the laser diodes?
