Im in the process of making my DIY projector and have been trying to get hold of some UV and IR filter from the UK but its very difficult and expencive.
I brought an LCD panel from ebay and there is a sheet of glass on the underside of the panel which would have gone between the OHP fresnel and the LCD. This glass has a reddish tint and a greeny tint depending on what angle you look at it from.
does anyone know if this is a UV/IR filter? or if not what type of filter it is? cause that would save me a whole lot of hastle trying to get filters in the UK.
