How accurate is the Fozgometer?

Has anyone checked the accuracy of the Fozgometer?
It is very simple to use with the AP test record or HFN test record. My long term favourite cartridge reads dead-on. My recently purchased Ortofon Quintet Black is way off on azimuth and channel balance. Unfortunately my tonearms are fixed headshell SME IV, SME V-12 and Rega/Michell Technoarm, none of which have adjustable azimuth. It looks like I will have to try a shim between cartridge and headshell. Any suggestions?

I used a 0.8 mm shim from a plastic business card next to one mounting bolt to correct where I detected a slight lean. The readings on the Fozgometer are now close to optimal. The audible result was quite dramatic. The Quintet Black now sounds like a very good cartridge indeed. I would expect that extreme stylus profiles like the Shibata are very sensitive to alignment errors. In answering my own question, the subjective effect of correcting the Fozgometer readings is spectacular for an out of alignment cartridge.
