Hosts file mod fixes forum display problems

currentflow posted the following in the Forum not displaying properly today... thread. I have modified it slightly to include a missing line for s6...

If you cut and paste the 6 lines below into your hosts file it will provide a temporary fix to the DNS problem.

In XP the hosts file can be found at \windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Hi planet10. It looks like the DNS servers are not working for the forum's static images server. Forcing the IP translation in the Windows hosts file solves the problem (temporarily):

209.59.179.2 files.diyaudio.com
209.59.179.2 files.diyaudio.com
209.59.179.2 s3.dastatic.com
209.59.179.2 s4.dastatic.com
209.59.179.2 s5.dastatic.com
209.59.179.2 s6.dastatic.com
