I thought I was clever but probably it shows my ignorance. I googled damping and most of it was about amplifier damping factors.....

Would a sealed speaker with Linkwitz transform (either a circuit or through mini DSP) have advantages over bass reflex in my application? (300liters cabinet, omni mids and highs, large 300m2 room)

Can anyone suggest a better option than 4 x mb quart pwm304 12" subwoofers in 300L sealed? These are available locally for a very reasonable 70usd each. Manufacturer suggested box would only be 140liters. (35liters for one driver x 4) Is that in order to fit it into a car or for best sound quality? In 300liters QTC is 0.79, in 140liters QTC is 0.96. Wouldn't the larger box sound better?
