Newer buy anything from " janeh " at Ebay . A friend of me bought 25 pcs Ad 8620 and we discovered they where fakes. 😱🙁😡

Well that should teach your friend to buy from authorised distributors
like Farnell although they cost more to have peace of mind.

Also stay away from the 2SJ74BLs unless they guarantee them as Toshiba. I bought 60 and they tested at over 20ma Idss, the seller admitted they were not Toshibas, I have still not received my refund. I reported them.

I will . Two DVD players modded with them had very much distortion. I bought some new ones from Digikey.

His price seems too good at $34.5 for 30 pcs. It's really fishy to me when I saw he only sell to US, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Not anywhere too close to get a hold of him.
imetroshop and cn_laptop88 seem to from the same gang.

Yes, that's where I bought them, but it looks like others are selling the same thing. They are definitely counterfeit. Some people on the forum tried to use them for diff front end prs and got huge offsets.

I filed a claim with Ebay, we'll see if they take care of it. It's a pretty good scam the sellers are running. The only way to return the pcs with delivery confirmation is so expensive that no one is willing to pay, so the seller gets away with your money. If you return the pcs by regular mail the seller merely claims that he did not receive the return, so you are screwed either way.

Got 5 x fakes from these guys in Hong Kong " buyincoins_au " the batteries were ok but all the chargers blew up and fried on 240v or 110v after 15mins of charging time LETHAL!!!

The weight to send all back cost more than the purchase, thankfully I did a Paypal claim in time and they refunded me.

Good news!

Ebay reviewed my dispute and refunded my money. I hope it helps slow down the scams being run but that's up to Ebay.

I've learned not to be shy about filing a dispute, even if it's only for a few dollars.
