Home sub designs... second opinion sought!

Just looking for peoples opinions on these two ideas (or other ideas entirely).

I'm building a home sub, to fill in the lowest octaves from either a set of BMR satellites or Troels Graavesen Seas W15CY001. I want to fill in either 120Hz down or more like 80Hz down. I have a very defined footprint (because its going in the corner under and existing shelf at the end of the sofa), of 615mm high, 965mm long and 250mm wide (all external dimensions). This gives me about 100l or 3.9CuFt if I use the whole volume. I'm hoping to use some drivers I already have, but if someone can suggest something radically better then I'm all ears! For reference my room is about 4.5x6m with a low ceiling it open plans onto almost as much area again (dining room and kitchen) its a terraced house so I don't need massive volume as they will appreciate this less than me.

My 2 current thoughts are:

The whole volume for a sealed enclosure with a single ATC SB75-375SC. This is a 15" 'midbass' from a studio monitor with a paper cone and underhung motor. My issue with this design is it leaves me a very slim cabinet (only 250mm deep) and even on spikes in the carpet, I'm concerned the cabinet may rock with the speaker motion.

Make the cabinet a couple of inches shorter and port it through the base (this will vent under the sofa more or less in the corner of the room). This would be loaded with a pair of Seas CW21EX001 drivers (there are a car audio subwoofer and mine are prototype or early versions, not the usual Lotus 8" driver) and use them firing at each other to cancel out any mechanical vibration,

They are both good quality drivers so I doubt either design would be disappointing. I will add some simple graphs shortly to show frequency response, impedance and group delay.

I'd appreciate peoples thoughts.
